A week ago, our electricians at Windak OU, Estonia, ditched paper drawings and started using tablets, marking a new era of digital efficiency. Thanks to the integration of eVIEW on the EPLAN Platform, our electricians can now access and update electrical drawings in real-time. This centralized system ensures that everyone is working with the latest information, reducing errors and speeding up production of cable winding machines.

But that’s not all—our team has also adopted Jira across the entire engineering and production chain. This powerful tool allows us to report and resolve issues quickly, whether it’s missing components or assembly mismatches. By catching and addressing these challenges early, we’re able to keep our processes smooth and deliver consistently high-quality results.
For our cable manufacturing partners, these advancements lead to more reliable lead times, higher equipment quality, and streamlined internal processes on our end, ensuring that we can meet your needs more efficiently.
A special thanks to Kaur Kukk, our Continuous Improvement Engineer, who led this integration project and made these advancements possible.
