How It Works: The Decomposition Process

The decomposition process of our stretch wrap is meticulously designed to be efficient and eco-friendly. Beginning in the 13th month, the polymer chains start to break down into smaller, more manageable molecules. Between the 13th and 16th months, the film transitions from plastic to a bioresidue with hydrophilic properties and a smaller molecular structure. By the 24th month, this residue becomes so minute that natural bacteria and fungi can break it down into CO2, water, and biomass.
