Windak Hosts Successful Factory Acceptance Test for LAPP Korea’s New AR24-D Spooling Line

We were delighted to host Yuseok Seo and Yongmook Choi from LAPP Korea for the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) of their new fully automatic AR24-D spooler. The visit was an excellent opportunity to demonstrate the advanced capabilities of our spooler, which efficiently winds solar cables and railway/power cables that Lapp Korea manufactures.

The AR24-D line includes modern test equipment, the automated PE film application unit – Windak’s WRAP-APP, a label applicator, and a 2-axis spool palletizer equipped with an automatic pallet gripper and pallet dispenser.

Its innovative design allows RECONFIGURATION FOR TWO SIZE RANGES – 200 – 450 mm (8” – 18”) and 300 – 600 mm (12” – 24”) – and a possible CHANGE OF SETUP BETWEEN LEFT TO RIGHT OR RIGHT TO LEFT OPERATION, catering to diverse industry needs.

The highly qualified engineering team was especially commended for their support in checking requirements and functionalities. The focus on continuous improvement, including tools like 6S and Kanban, was highlighted as essential for meeting customer delivery dates.
